The Final Entries for the European Cup Winter Throwing on 15-16 March 2008 in Split/CRO is open. Final Entries Deadline will be on Wednesday, 5 March 2008, 24.00 h (CET). The Team Online Entry System can be accessed at www.european-athletics.org in the section “Member Federation Zone/Competition”. Member Federations shall use their usual password and ID to enter the respective information for each European Athletics Event.

Record number of 35 countries sent preliminary entries to participate on 8th European Cup Winter Throwing in Split from 15th to 16th March. Among 266 athletes and 129 officials and couches, the most interes is for women's hammer throw (28 athletes) and men's hammer throw (25 athletes).
